Effective July 1st, 2026, Alpha Medical Laboratory will no longer accept United Healthcare or Humana’s Medicare Advantage Network’s insurance.

Due to nationwide industry challenges that are not specific to Alpha Medical Laboratory—including administrative delays, extensive documentation of frequent claim denials, and increasing difficulty in pre-approving necessary lab tests for nursing home patient treatments—billing insurance for services under these specific plans is no longer financially sustainable.
